After setting the lap record in pre-event testing Paul went one better and set the lap record (breaking the time he set in pre-event testing as well!) in the first race of the weekend.

After qualifying 2nd Paul got a good start and entered into a race long battle with title rivals Sutton and Wharton-Eales. Paul was able to maintain 2nd  position until the end of the race and secured valuable points to keep him in the title hunt.

In the second race Paul started from third on the grid. After making a slightly slower start than 4th placed Hand Paul had to battle back to get into third position. He was looking to challenge for 2nd place but was taken out by Hand. Paul was able to fight back to 4th (Helped by Hand receiving a time penalty due to track limits) meaning there is still a chance Paul could take the title at the Brands Hatch meeting.
